New or Emerging Young People’s Ministry Awards
The United Methodist Rural Advocates are now offering (5) $500 New or Emerging Young People’s Ministry Awards to United Methodist rural, or town and country churches within the United States. Interested persons are asked to submit an application that describes either a new or existing (started within the last 6 months), young people’s outreach program that seeks to benefit those in their communities and beyond.
Applications will be reviewed by our Scholarship Committee.
Each church chosen will receive a certificate from UMRA and they will be asked to share a brief description of their program in one of our upcoming newsletters. There may also be an invitation to participate in a webinar sponsored by UMRA to share what you are doing with others who would like to do something similar in their areas.
Attached is the application for these awards. Please complete and return it to the person indicated on the application by January 10, 2024. Recipients will be notified by February 1, 2024.
